Social and community commitment of Sonderschrauben Güldner
The corporate culture of Sonderschrauben Güldner GmbH & Co. KG has been deeply rooted in social responsibility since its foundation. Our dedication is particularly evident in the areas of education, social affairs and environmental protection.
Environmental commitment at Sonderschrauben Güldner
As a responsible production company, we take environmental protection very seriously. Our commitment to a sustainable future is manifested in our photovoltaic system, which generates 830 MWh of electricity for our production every year.
But we go one step further: during their stay at our company, we offer our employees and guests the opportunity to charge their electric vehicles - with electricity generated directly from our own photovoltaic system.
Through these measures, we save around 580 tons of CO2 emissions per year, which is equivalent to the CO2 absorption capacity of 17,396 newly planted trees. In this way, we are making an active contribution to environmental protection and promoting the use of renewable energies.
At Sonderschrauben Güldner, we are proud of our active commitment to environmental protection. Our commitment to a more sustainable future is reflected in the many measures we have already taken to become more environmentally friendly and carbon neutral.
Our efforts start with small but significant steps such as the introduction of waste-free hand drying. We believe that every action counts and that even the smallest changes can make a big difference when it comes to protecting our planet.
We also actively promote the use of e-bikes. At Sonderschrauben Güldner, we offer our employees the opportunity to switch to e-bikes. This is another step towards a greener and more sustainable future, as e-bikes are a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional means of transportation.
At Sonderschrauben Güldner, we are proud of the progress we have made so far and look forward to continuing our efforts and taking further action to reduce our environmental footprint. At Sonderschrauben Güldner, we believe that every contribution counts when it comes to protecting our planet for future generations.

Retten macht Schule
The Björn Steiger Foundation has launched the “Retten macht Schule” initiative, which is supported by Sonderschrauben Güldner.
In Germany, around 100,000 people fall victim to sudden cardiac death every year. However, a study by Rostock University Medical Center and the foundation has shown that even seventh-graders are capable of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
For this reason, the Björn Steiger Foundation launched the “Retten macht Schule” initiative in 2009.
Its aim is to train all seventh-graders in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and lay defibrillation.
Sonderschrauben Güldner supports this initiative in the schools of Niederstetten, Germany.
